New York University School of Social and Cultural Analysis

Transdisciplinary program develops a location to bring all offerings together

Graphics and branding for the new Social and Cultural Analysis department was inspired by fragmentation of words and surfaces. Through collaboration with LTL Architects, a clever storage system was developed as a means for displaying professors books and acting as office signage throughout the floor. Large scale sliding panels welcome visitors and function as a backdrop for events in reception. Two niches at either end of the floor important dates in history provided by professors of the department and a headshot wall featuring their portraits.
