Global Financial Company
Airspace was commissioned by a well known financial services firm to design an art program and interior signage standards for their existing 460,000 sq. ft. headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The art program was developed for their 30,000 sq. ft. conference center to showcase historic documents and artifacts from their archive to reflect the global nature of their business. Documents were reprduced in zinc, mirror-backed acid-etched glass, direct print to aluminum and digital prints encased in a high-gloss resin. Airspace worked with a framer and architecture firm Swanke Hayden Connell to coordinate a custom framing approach for each installation.
The signage system was designed in aged bronze for the conference center and aluminum for the typical workplace floors. Supergraphic film created privacy at meeting spaces using documents from each of their original offices in New York, Paris and London.
